How to fix 99% of BuyerKiosk Issues

Please complete each of these steps in the order specified:

  1. Reboot the Access Point - The access point is the white circular disk with the green ring light in the middle. If you follow the one cord from that white disc it should terminate into a small black power box that looks like a laptop power brick. It has two ports on one end labeled "LAN" and "POE." Unplug this device from the power and wait 10 seconds and plug it back in.
  2. Reboot the printers following these instructions: Receipts Are Not Printing
  3. If you have our label printer, reboot it and follow these instructions: Labels Are Not Printing From the Label Printer
  4. Run a test transaction to see if it prints. If not continue with step 5
  5. Open the stand case and reboot the tablet.
  6. Once the tablet reboots, go into the settings on the tablet and make sure the table reconnects to the V2TS network under the Wi-Fi settings.  The tablet should not be connected to your store WiFi or it will not find the printers.
  7. Then run another test transaction. If you are still having an issue after all of this, then it's likely a firewall problem and you'll need to reboot the external firewall/Sonicwall. If you don't know how to do that then open a ticket and ask Winmark to do it Once WinMark Help Desk reboots the firewall, reset the access point again and things should start working.

Please print these instructions and make them available to employees so they know how to properly fix printing issues.
